Communications - Intersections of Smart-Phone/Netbook/Laptop/Desktop Web Services
The changing communications landscape is driven in large part by the proliferation of multiple platforms for delivery of web services. These platforms are as frequently compatible as they are competitive, and are evolving so quickly that web service developers/providers must operate in a state of high alert for new paradigms/emerging standards. Further, new mobile delivery platforms are frequently challenged to deliver enterprise-scale performance over a wireless infrastructure that can barely handle more modest consumer-level requirements. Also, and depending on your position, the legislative environment and recent FCC decisions re. net neutrality have either simplified or complicated all of the above.
The January 18th EntreTech Forum panel discussion will take on these issues and explore them in an engaging and street-wise manner that delivers real-world understanding to the audience. Our panelists are drawn from locally-based leaders in the various worlds of telecom innovation, web analytics, and mobile app development.
